Our Story
Where the sweet chapter started
Sweet Pea Coffee Shop is the latest chapter in a long-standing passion for home baking and community. Located in the heart of Warrenpoint, this venture offers homemade treats, eats and great coffee.
This isn't the the ladies first rodeo however as they began and ran Sweet Pea Café for 12 wonderful years, a local favourite in another location. When that chapter ended in 2022, they weren’t ready to leave behind their love for hospitality and serving the community, so in 2025 - Sweet Pea Coffee Shop was born, rebranded from Sweet Pea Café, with a fresh start and a new location.
Smaller and simpler, the name lives on, not only because of the memories tied to the original Sweet Pea but also because 'Sweet Pea' was Nuala’s dad’s favourite flower, which inspired the name.
Everything at Sweet Pea Coffee Shop reflects the passion and care Nuala and Aisling bring to the business. Aisling combines her background in marketing with a growing love for coffee. Together, they make a dynamic mother-daughter team.
